PLAY THE ARSENAL WAY
Introduction to Arsenal Soccer Schools
Arsenal Football Club is one of England’s most successful football clubs with an impressive 13 league and 10 FA Cup titles. They famously played all 38 Premier League games without losing in season 2003/04, and currently retain the record of 49 league games unbeaten.
Arsenal’s reputation as one of the leading Premier League Clubs is cemented by their reputation for playing with their own unique style and flair. Arsenal Manager, Arsène Wenger, has been with the Club since 1996 and is widely regarded to be one of the world’s greatest coaches and is credited with transforming English Football into the fast paced and technically beautiful game it is today.
Arsène’s coaching methodologies are not only applied to the first team but have been filtered through the Club; to the Arsenal Ladies – England’s most successful Ladies team, the Youth Academy – the future players of the Club, and to Arsenal Soccer Schools – the Club’s grassroots youth soccer program.
Arsenal Soccer Schools started in 1985 as a local community project near Arsenal’s home in North London. Arsenal Soccer Schools now operate all around UK and across the globe. Visit PlaytheArsenalWay.com for further information on the locations.
LEARN TO PLAY THE ARSENAL WAY:
AN INTRODUCTION FROM ARSÈNE WENGER
At Arsenal Football Club we pride ourselves on playing as a team to produce imaginative, entertaining and skillful football. We take time to develop and nurture our younger players to ensure that they reach their full potential. By guiding players through our extensive training programs, we have produced many world-class footballers over the years.
The training programs in our Arsenal Soccer Schools have been developed based on the same principles we teach at the Arsenal Training Ground; developing young players’ technical skills and passion for the game to ensure they become the best players and athletes they possibly can.
We are excited to be in HAWAII to offer boys and girls the opportunity to improve their skills and techniques while learning to ‘Play the Arsenal Way’.
Arsène Wenger
Head Coach, Arsenal Football Club
